Week 9 - Scheduled To Upload!

8th - 14th May.

As of now, 13th May, I am excited to say that my final outcome is scheduled to upload on Monday 15th - in two days. I am happy about this as it will give me good time to finalise my evaluations and sections of my website I am not yet finished with.

Pre-Upload Tasks.

This week I did a lot of things to finalise my video I did some final edits to some of the drawings and sound until the video was ready to go.

After this I then did a lot of things in order to prepare my upload and then push the video out . I did a lot of things for SEO kinds of things and did things to promote my video. These things consisted of posting the links to my instagram accounts and sharing them with others. As I mentioned, I had scheduled the upload for a certain date so that I had time to promote my work so this is what I did, I posted on my instagram, made stories on my instagram, and my TikTok accounts giving information on when the video would be posted. I had also done some promotion before this, posting snippets of what I was working on and many people seemed interested which I was happy about.

SEO.

The SEO things I did consisted of: creating a suitable thumbnail for my video, coming up with a suitable title, making a description for the video, choosing tags which would push out my video more into the social media algorithms the best. I am overall very satisfied with the results of all of this and hope that people watch my video despite my nerves around it. As can be seen below in one of the pictures I got my SEO score up to 100 which helped me to push out my video to a wider audience.

Above is the description I made for my video, as can be seen I Included the title, created a brief description, explained what my project is and what it's for and linked relevant social media. You can also see the thumbnail I chose for the video. I thought I'd make one that has both of the main characters on.

Above are what I found to be the most effective tags I could put underneath my video to push it out more into the algorithm. TubeBuddy had a tool helped me to choose them by using tags from similar types of videos. I altered the tags a little to keep them more relevant though.

The Final Week.

Next week I plan to finish referencing all of my research, complete my authentication sheet and to finalise the last parts of my evaluation. I am confident I will be finished by the deadline.
