Week 7 - Presenting, Recording More Lines, Drawing.

24th - 30th April.

This week has been quite a busy one since there were many things I needed to complete before I started editing more of my final video together.

Presenting.

Something scheduled for this week was the presentation of the Pitch. As I have previously mentioned, I recorded my Pitch as a video to show to my group as I thought that this would allow them to process better and allow me to get my point across better too. I was very nervous for this presentation however got through it and overall think that the outcome was great as my audience seemed to understand me and my ideas well and liked the concept. I mentioned previously that I thought that maybe I could have sounded too nervous or quiet but I never got any negative feedback from that from my audience however I still personally believe that I could have done better in this department.

Recording More Lines, Drawing.

This week I voiced my other character Jaxon, and while I was nervous about it at first, I feel like the lines came out well. It was a big step for me to record my own voice, and I'm proud of myself for overcoming my insecurities and trying something new.

Overall, I feel like this was a big accomplishment for me. It's not easy to put yourself out there and try something new, especially when you're dealing with anxieties and insecurities. But I managed to push through those feelings and get it done, and I feel like my project is better for it. This experience has helped me to grow and gain confidence in my abilities, and I'm excited to keep working on my animatic project and see where it takes me.

Experimentation

Next week I plan to use all of the lines recorded and start to edit them into the animation once I have finished all of the frames - which I am not far from completing as I have been doing drawing for most of this week. I plan to finish all of my animatic drawings by the 12th of May however expect for them to be done before then so I can complete my final edit with time left to tie up any loose ends of my whole project. I am relatively confident that I will get things finished to a good standard and I am very excited about this.
