Week 5 - Started Recording Lines!

10th - 16th April

Plans.

This week I continued with my drawings and plan to finish the bulk of them in the next few weeks , therefore giving me time to experiment more in depth with editing clips, sound and voiceovers etc. and to eventually finish them.

Recording Lines.

This week I actually started to record some lines with a friend who voices who is for now known as 'Zombie 1'. I chose to experiment with this character first as he is the one that speaks the most in the video due to his role of introducing our character, Jaxon, to his new life.

Experimentation

I am feeling pretty nervous about fully moving on to recording my own lines as of now as it is something I have less experience in however I want to prove to myself that I can do it and I want to learn. That is my overall goal of this project after all.

Evaluation.

I'm really proud of myself for starting to record lines for my animatic project this week. It was something I was worried about due to my anxieties around recording my voice, but I managed to push through those insecurities and get it done.

My friend did an amazing job voicing my character called Zombie 1, and I feel like they captured his personality perfectly. It was really helpful to have someone else's input and expertise to bring my character to life.

Overall.

As of this week I am glad to say I have finished my research and my idea development and the main bulk of my experimentation, however I plan to add to the experimentation as I go throughout the whole project as the way I see it I am constantly learning and trying new things and might as well talk about my experience learning them.
