Making a Website.

(Project 1.2)

After examining the internet for many website examples and looking through them, the good and the bad, I came up with many ideas on what features are important to have on a website.

There are many features that are obvious and many that just add that final touch which makes looking through a website a unique and interesting experience to a viewer.

It is extremely important that attention is drawn to the right parts of a website visually, therefore, for example having a background that blends in with the text is not a good idea, and a solution to this would be making the text and the background contrast to each other so it is clear what a viewer is supposed to be looking at. This is why for my site I have used a simple black background with white text as I have found that keeping things simple is sometimes the way to go when making something visually pleasing.

Another reason it may be important to keep things simple in the world of website building is because it is important to make things as easy and as smooth for viewers as possible. Navigation is extremely important on a website as a viewer needs to know where to look and for what. Making it hard to navigate your way

around a website would most definitely cause frustration, difficulty

and even boredom and it is extremely

crucial that your audience does not lose interest.
